PUP (Playstation Update Package) files are packages which contain the files used to update a PSP or PS3 system. The other PUP file version is the same, except it is zero-filled after the normal PUP content to a fixed filelength of 256MB, which gets released on Gamedisks (if gamecreators build their project to a premaster and give it to Sony for signing, they just use a placeholder of a 256MB PS3UPDAT. Within the Retail/CEX there are 2 file versions: 1 is a PUP with a normal file length which also gets released online. In the least condescending way, i've constantly witnessed Yahoo! Windows can ONLY see one keyboard and mouse at a time and will not divert from that! So I went and installed VMWare, and had two copies of Windows running on different TV's.Answers users constantly saying things aren't possible to people just because they feel that it would, in their opinion, be far too complicated or unethical and therefore it doesn't exist. One on the monitor, and one on a television, allocated with two copies of World of Warcraft and two accounts, completely separate mouses and keyboards. With that said, I'm asking you, as what I believe to be a logical community to not disregard this question because you feel it to be too illegitimate or you are afraid to explore these ideas.
Go to the Play Station Blog and download the update file to your PC.
Sony has wheeled out firmware version 4.46 for the Play Station 3, which allows users to hide trophy notifications.
The new PS3 firmware replaces version 4.45, which was released with the same feature last week but made some consoles inoperable.
Let me give an example, plenty of people have asked here if it's possible to use two keyboards and two mouses on a Windows system in order to play an MMORPG or Co Op game together on different PC's - The answer from the Yahoo community is "No! Do not tell me it's impossible, because I already have a worst case scenario. This retarded 14 year old living with us at the moment took mine, (edit: can't get it back because she 'lost it') and my brother has my portable hard drive. Just decided to do it today, but I haven't updated it yet.
My PS3 for some unknown reason is dying after 77% when I try to update it with an error code. If you have a smartphone, you can use it's internal memory as a flash drive, just copy the update onto it, plug it into the PS3, and mount the internal phone memory when prompted like you would if you hooked it up to your computer. I want to do it in some quirky way to prove some point that only I care about, olol.
